Samsung was an official 2012 London Olympic brand ambassador. I was a creative lead in creating the Samsung Olympic Torch Relay campaign designed to humanise Samsung’s role as a worldwide Olympic partner.

About the project
People could apply through Samsung’s Facebook page, its dedicated microsite, or through Vodaphone stores via Samsung Galaxy Tabs. They were encouraged to submit a story or video showing how they inspired others. Winners were randomly chosen to carry the Olympic Flame during the relay across the UK.
Solution
Create a submission platform that is quick and seamless for retailers or audiences online to complete nominations. Utilise Samsungs Tab devices and an entry touch point, reinforcing the brands commitment to the spirit of the olympics. Tie in brand ambassadors to further amplify the up coming event and create excitiement.
